We are pleased to announce that the Mistra Urban Futures 2017 annual report is now published. Last year was extremely productive as the Sheffield-Manchester Platform began working with colleagues in Cape TownGothenburgKisumuSkåne and Stockholm to launch our comparative research projects to compare the processes and experiences of different platforms in working towards more socially sustainable ‘just cities’. The Sheffield-Manchester continues to develop its broad portfolio of work including action research to enhance participatory governance, experiences in self-organising food systems and resident-led organising in deprived urban neighbourhoods; and a new community-led housing partnership.
