We are seeking to appoint a Research Associate to work on a prestigious three-year research project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). The project ‘Whose knowledge matters? Competing and contesting knowledge claims in 21st century cities’ (2016-2019) is a partnership between the Urban Institute, Sheffield Methods Institute and the Centre for Higher Education Policy Studies at the University of Twente (Netherlands). It is funded through the OpenResearch Area initiative.

We’re also looking for an outstanding Research Fellow to coordinate the Realising Just Cities programme of work and the design, delivery and evaluation of co-production projects across two city-regions in the North of England. As Coordinator, you will also undertake reflexive analysis of the model of the Local Interaction Platform as a mode of organising knowledge for urban transformations with the programme leads.
