Walker will discuss his recent book, ‘Pictures of a Gone City: Tech and the Dark Side of Prosperity in the San Francisco Bay Area’. The book addresses the relationship between utopian narratives of the region’s tech industry and the complicated and uneven geographies on which the industry’s success depends.
